Rainbow with White Pearlized Fine Thread While researching a design for a Bar Mitzvah teen whose Torah Reading is "Noah", I found different scientific and religious definitions of what colors are in a Rainbow. Scientificly most say Rainbows are made of 6 colors. While early scientist being also "religious" men want to say 7. 7 for the days of creation etc. They add light purple/lilac/violet. Since this was for a Bar Mitzvah I made it with the 7 colors. I think it came out incredible. The picture though does not show the pearlized threads in the white that reflect the rainbow! Double rows of single crochet stitches in Solid Rainbow Cotton colors. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Lilac, Purple. On each row of the rainbow the threads are cut and crocheted with the colors changing into the white. Wide White/Pearlized Single Crochet Border.
